Today I made a youtube movie using photostory and a power point that I found online. The process was suprisingly easy. Click here to view the movie, or just watch below.
We did a google search for a powerpoint that related to our future specialization. I found one that went over some basic words and phrases in Spanish. We then download the file. Then we saved the power point as photos. This can be down by changing the file type in the save dialoge box.
We then uploaded the pictures to photostory and made the finished presentation. The program walks you through each of the steps in the process of making the presentation.

This relates to Standard 1. b. "engage students in exploring real-world issues and solving authentic problems using digital tools and resources." This lesson taught me how to use photostory to create a movie from a powerpoint. This enabled me to upload the video onto youtube, which allows me to share it with anyone anywhere, so long as they have internet.
