Today we worked with Google Forms, another helpful tool from Google. I created a servey about weather using Spanish terms. You can click here to take the survey or see below.
These documents have a large variety of applications. They can be used to gather feed back on projects, classes, or activities. They can be used as tests or as a way to get to know your students better. Their usefulness is really only limited by your creativity and ingenuity.
You can view your form by clicking on the URL at the bottom of the edit page. Also you can click on the spread sheet that is located in Google Doc, then click on form, then go to live form. You can access your results by clicking on the spreed sheet in Google Docs. Your results can then be viewed as either a spreed sheet or a list. You can share your survey by emailing it, creating a link, or embedding it.
Here is a link to the published spreed sheet with my results.
This relates to standard 3. a. "demonstrate fluency in technology systems and the transfer of current knowledge to new technologies and situations." People have been making paper tests forever. Transferring that skill to technology can help to engage students and pique their interests.
